Wander off.
Get put back.
Anchor remembers the windows and tabs your task needs. When you drift, it asks once, then puts everything back exactly where it was.
Ask once. Remembered all session.
When you land somewhere new, a pill drops from the notch. Say yes and that site joins the task. Say no, or say nothing, and you're back where you were.
Strict, but it listens.
Sometimes the YouTube video is the work. Tell Anchor why you're there, and it lets that site in for the rest of the session.
-
Real windows, real tabs
Brings back the exact Chrome or Safari tab, on the same display, at the same size.
-
Snooze when you need it
Taking five? Snooze and Anchor leaves you alone until the time's up.
-
Quiet on calls
Holds back while your mic or camera is on, and waits while you're typing.
-
Undo a restore
Put back by mistake? One shortcut returns everything to how you left it.
-
A summary at the end
Minutes on task, how often you drifted, and what you let in.
-
Every display, every Space
Windows on other desktops and screens are tracked and brought back too.
Every call, written down.
To judge drift, Anchor sends the app, window title and page address, plus a screenshot of the front window when it's unsure. Every decision lands in a log on your Mac that you can open any time.

Questions?
Does Anchor block websites?
No. Nothing is blocked. Anchor asks whether a screen belongs to your task, and if you don't have a reason to be there, it brings your task back to the front.
Which browsers does it work with?
Chrome, Safari and Arc, down to the exact tab. Other apps are restored at the window level: right window, right display, right size.
What permissions does it need?
Accessibility, to see and move windows, and Automation for each browser, so it can switch tabs. macOS asks for each one the first time it's needed.
How does it decide I've drifted?
It compares the screen you're on with your goal and the screens you've already said yes to. Fast checks run first; an AI model looks closer only when it's unsure.
When can I get it?
Anchor is in private beta for macOS 26 on Apple silicon. Request access and we'll send you a build.
